Sadie Barbee

Hi everyone! I am a 3rd year Biology major at the University of California, Riverside. In the future, I hope to pursue a PhD in Cancer Biology, and eventually work as a university professor and researcher, as I am fascinated by how the disease develops, and hope to contribute to our current knowledge about cancer in order to develop better treatments for it. I joined Queens of STEAM to expose younger women to careers and topics in STEAM that I was not aware of as a high school student, and to encourage them that they are capable of being a scientist as well!
